ResponsibilitiesMinimum 4 years hotel experience in a management positionStrategic, proactive leader willing to take risksExperience with Revenue Management platforms: One Yield, GRO, Hotelligence, Marsha, OnQ R&IFamiliar; with a hotel revenue budget and revenue segmentation strategiesAble to provide hands-on leadership to facilitate revenue meetings and hotel strategy meetingsStrategic thinker with transient and group segmentsAble to analyze, understand and interpret sales/revenue reports for our hotelsFamiliar with eSales/eToolsFamiliar with rational pricing, local accounts, national accounts, RFP process and GDS systemsExperience in PMS systems: OnQ and/or FOSSEProficient in Excel and PowerPointAble to actively participate and understand the sales effort of the hotels and establish relationships with the hotel's key accounts national account directorsAbility to identify problems and implement or recommend solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across multiple hotelsQualificationsAt least 2 years experience in the Revenue Management field as manager or senior analystBachelor's degree or equivalent in Hotel or Hospitality Management or closely related field preferredIn-Depth knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Hotelligence, Market Vision, etc.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power PointAbility to work quickly in a high-pressure & high stress environmentAbility to communicate clearly both verbally and in writingExcellent time management skillsExceptional with details and follow upFlexible and long hours sometimes required.Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.Perform other duties as requested by management
