Support the global lead buyer/senior buyer in expanding global commodity strategiesObserve and analyze the applicable procurement marketsSupport the Purchasing technical project leader (FPL-P) during the project phaseRequest, compare and evaluate extensive bids, taking into account price, quality, delivery performance and technology; conduct cost reduction actions according to activity plans and targets setIdentify and realize cost-savings potentialsPromote new technologies and substitutes, including initiation of approval processesImplement setup of complex procurement relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiations and managementImplement supplier management within the commodity as needed, in cooperation with the general lead buyer/senior buyer, including supplier selection, concluding supplier agreements, conducting supplier evaluations, cooperating in supplier development and supplier audits,
