Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior P&C; Generalist to serve as the primary operational People & Culture presence for Latin America. Based in Mexico City, this role supports employees across Mexico, Brazil, and additional LATAM countries where Milestone operates through an Employer of Record (EOR). This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the Mexico City office.

This is a broad, hands-on role requiring a high degree of independence, sound judgment, and strong regional knowledge. You will own day-to-day P&C; operations, employee lifecycle processes, regional compliance, and EOR administration while supporting the execution of Americas and global P&C; programs across LATAM.

You will work closely with our People Partners, providing local expertise and operational support, particularly where language, cultural context, or country-specific employment practices are important. The role will also coordinate workplace operations for our Mexico City office, partnering with integral teams and external vendors to keep the site running effectively.

What You Will Do

People Operations & Regional Support

Own day-to-day P&C; operations and employee lifecycle activities across LATAM, including onboarding, employee changes, leaves, documentation, benefits coordination, and offboarding.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems data and coordinate payroll inputs and employment documentation with internal teams and external providers.

Support People Partners and managers with regional expertise, local language support, and execution of employee relations, performance management, organizational changes, and other People activities.

Serve as an accessible local P&C; resource for employees, connecting more complex matters to the appropriate People Partner or specialist.

Execute Americas and global P&C; programs, policies, and initiatives across LATAM and help adapt implementation to local requirements.

Identify opportunities to improve People processes and the employee experience across the region.

Compliance & EOR Management

Maintain strong knowledge of Mexican employment requirements and coordinate with external experts on employment requirements across other LATAM countries.





Coordinate Brazil employment matters, including applicable labor union and collective agreement requirements, with external counsel, payroll providers, and internal stakeholders.

Manage the operational relationship with our EOR provider for employees in countries where Milestone does not have a legal entity, including onboarding, employee changes, payroll and benefits coordination, and offboarding.

Proactively identify regional employment and compliance risks and engage Legal, Finance, Payroll, or external experts when needed.

Mexico City Workplace Operations

Coordinate day-to-day workplace operations for the Mexico City office, including facilities, vendors, supplies, access, and other office needs.

Serve as the local coordination point for employee technology and equipment needs, partnering with global IT and external providers for support.

Support workplace projects, new-hire setup, office improvements, employee events, and local engagement activities.

Proactively identify workplace issues and coordinate with internal teams and external providers to drive resolution.

Professional Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, P&C;, or a similar generalist role.

Experience independently supporting People operations across multiple Latin American countries within a multinational organization.

Strong working knowledge of Mexican and Brazilian employment practices and labor requirements, with experience navigating requirements across the broader LATAM region.

Experience working with Employer of Record providers

Strong judgment and ability to independently manage operational and employee matters while recognizing when escalation or specialist expertise is required.

Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a global,



matrixed organization.

Business-level fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is highly desirable.

Experience with HR systems such as Oracle or similar platforms preferred.

The monthly earnings for this position range from 72,000 to 75,000 MXN. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone's total compensation package. We pay 100% of the health insurance premiums for our employees and their eligible dependents, with an affordable 2 UMAM deductible and 10% coinsurance capped at MXN $26,500. We also offer a fully paid life insurance policy.
