About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual Billing Specialist to manage our dental billing processes and insurance claims. This role is central to keeping patient accounts accurate and our billing operations running smoothly in a fast-paced clinic environment. Key Responsibilities

Manage billing processes and insurance claims from start to finishAccurately process, submit, and coordinate primary and secondary dental insurance claimsCreate and review claims before submissionSubmit claims through the appropriate channels and track their statusFollow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, denials, and rejectionsSubmit claim corrections and adjustments promptlyNavigate state-specific Medicaid billing guidelines and write-off protocolsFollow up on patient accounts and outstanding paymentsAssist with monthly payment questions, updates,



and changesCreate billing and insurance reportsGather insurance information from new and existing patientsWork closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operationsAssist with other billing-related responsibilities as needed
Key Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish)Proficient in Open Dental software preferably not requiredProficiency with Google Workspace and general computer/software applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong collection and follow-up skillsCritical thinking skills for handling complex claim situationsAbility to prioritize, organize, and multitask at a high levelAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrict attention to detail and data integrity across patient accountsAbility to thrive under pressure and meet deadlinesPositive attitude and strong team player mindsetProfessionalism in a fast-paced environment
