ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for a FEA Analyst who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery , a large-scale energy storage solution, through advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with structural simulation specialist for structures, shock, vibration, and durability . The goal is to ensure the performance, safety, and durability of mechanical, thermal, and airflow components, optimizing the design for scalability and efficiency in grid-level applications.

English: B2–C1
Key Responsibilities Build, update, or validate structural models for pack structures, roof/base skid, cell hardware, and plastic or scrubber components.
Evaluate material reduction and structural margin while protecting requirements.
Perform shock, vibration, stiffness, stress, and durability assessments as applicable.
Document assumptions, load cases, mesh quality, results, limitations, and recommendations.
Collaborate with designers to iterate geometry and support verification planning.
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
3+ years for analyst or 6+ years for senior analyst in structural FEA.
Hands-on experience with a recognized FEA pre/post processor and solver.
Topology and sizing optimization experience.
Strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials, dynamics, vibration, fatigue, and engineering validation.
Meshing, idealization, boundary conditions, load-case definition, material models, and model quality checks.
Correlation or validation of models using available test or historical data.
Design optimization and clear translation of CAE findings into actionable design changes.
English level B2–C1 .
Preferred Skills Multiphysics simulations (CFD-FEA coupling)
Knowledge of iron-air batteries,
Knowledge of NFPA 69
Knowledge of IEC 62485
Expertise with Python/MATLAB
