We are seeking a C ++ Backend Engineer to build and operate backend services that power player-facing experiences in a live, high-traffic environment. You will deliver reliable APIs, scalable systems, secure data handling, and strong operational excellence in close partnership with client engineers.

Responsibilities

- Design backend services and APIs consumed by latency-sensitive game or client UI
- Implement secure authentication and authorization and protect sensitive user data
- Build scalable data models and storage strategies including transactions and caching
- Define pagination, rate limiting, and idempotency patterns to ensure safe, repeatable requests
- Own reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident improvements
- Collaborate with client engineers to shape API contracts and resilient user flows
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and improve CI/CD and deployment practices

Requirements





- 2+ years of experience building production backend systems for consumer-facing products at scale
- Hands-on experience collaborating with client engineers to define API contracts and resilient UI flows
- Proven experience owning service reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Strong API design skills with REST and/or gRPC, including versioning and backward compatibility
- Solid database fundamentals with SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and practical caching experience with Redis
- Strong cloud and operations fundamentals with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for daily collaboration and technical discussions
