Role: Desktop Support with Sales Operations OR Deal Desk OR Commercial Finance

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist to manage daily deal triage, quote validations, and cross-functional deal approvals. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Legal, and Product teams to resolve deal blockers while documenting operational workflows for a Q4 transition to the central Deal Pricing organization.

Technical Proficiency

- CRM & Helpdesk Tools: Strong proficiency in Salesforce and Vector.
- Collaboration Suites: Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Drive).
- Spreadsheet Analytics: Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (data modeling, quote analysis).
- - Experience & Qualifications

- Experience: 2–4 years in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Commercial Finance, or Contract Administration.
- Project-Specific Knowledge: Basic understanding of Enterprise Software licensing models, cloud service discount structures, and standard compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Deal Triage:



Review and triage incoming deal approval requests and helpdesk tickets via Salesforce/Vector for completeness and accuracy.
- Policy Compliance: Validate commercial quotes against established pricing guidelines, approval matrices, and discount thresholds.
- Quote Assistance: Help sales reps build initial deal structures, generate quotes, and secure necessary pre-approvals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the operational hub between Sales, Legal, and Product Management to unblock high-priority deals.
- Operational Transition: Maintain strict SLA turnarounds and document end-to-end process workflows ahead of the Q4 handover to the central Deal Pricing team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting Deal Desk, Sales Ops, or Commercial Product Operations.
- Commercial Acumen: Familiarity with non-standard deal terms, cloud licensing, and tier-based discount structures.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to negotiate approvals across department lines.
