About the Role

Impact Advisors Mexico is looking for an Epic AMB Associate to support ambulatory care workflows and healthcare technology solutions for U.S. healthcare organizations.

This role is designed for professionals with experience in ambulatory care, outpatient healthcare operations, clinical workflows, EHR/EMR systems, healthcare IT, or clinical applications who are interested in developing specialized expertise in Epic and healthcare consulting.

Epic AMB experience or certification is not required to apply. Candidates may have opportunities to develop Epic expertise and pursue certification based on applicable role requirements, business needs, eligibility, and Epic processes.

What You'll Do

- Support ambulatory and outpatient clinical workflows within Epic.
- Analyze application requests, incidents, and workflow issues related to ambulatory care.
- Support application configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Work with clinical and operational teams to understand ambulatory workflow requirements and translate them into application solutions.
- Support workflows related to outpatient encounters, appointments, clinical documentation, orders, referrals, and patient care processes.
- Investigate application and workflow issues, identify potential root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for system enhancements.
- Support workflow analysis and optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain application documentation, workflow materials, and support resources.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical staff, ambulatory operations teams, operational stakeholders, and technical teams supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
- Support implementation, upgrade, optimization, and enhancement activities as applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, issues, testing activities, and resolutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on ambulatory workflow efficiency and user experience.

Required Qualifications

- 1–3 years of professional experience in ambulatory care,



outpatient healthcare, clinical operations, healthcare IT, EHR/EMR support, clinical applications, or a related environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working with healthcare information systems, EHR/EMR platforms, clinical applications, or ticketing/support environments.
- Understanding of ambulatory and/or outpatient healthcare workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex clinical and operational workflows.
- Ability to translate workflow requirements into clear system-related solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Epic or another EHR/EMR platform.
- Epic AMB experience or certification.
- Experience supporting ambulatory or outpatient clinical applications.
- Experience with outpatient encounters, scheduling, clinical documentation, orders, referrals, or related workflows.
- Experience supporting physicians, nurses, or ambulatory clinical staff.
- Clinical informatics or healthcare application support experience.
- U.S. healthcare experience.
- Healthcare technology or consulting experience.
- Experience participating in EHR implementations, upgrades, testing, or optimization initiatives.
