About the Role

Impact Advisors Mexico is seeking an Epic ASAP Associate to support Emergency Department (ED) workflows for U.S.-based healthcare organizations.

Epic ASAP is the application used to support the clinical and operational workflows of Emergency Departments, including patient tracking, triage, clinical documentation, orders, patient flow, and coordination of care.

This role is an opportunity for a healthcare or healthcare technology professional with experience in emergency care, acute care, hospital operations, clinical workflows, or healthcare IT to develop specialized expertise in Epic and healthcare technology consulting.

Epic experience or certification is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do

- Support the analysis and optimization of Emergency Department workflows within Epic ASAP.
- Support system requests, incidents, and workflow issues related to Emergency Department functionality.
- Analyze clinical and operational requirements and translate them into application solutions.
- Support workflows related to patient arrival, triage, tracking, patient movement, and disposition.
- Support clinical documentation workflows and related application functionality.
- Assist with the analysis, configuration, testing, and validation of application changes.
- Support workflows involving orders for laboratory, imaging, medications, and clinical procedures.
- Investigate application issues, identify potential root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions with technical and operational teams.
- Participate in application testing, quality assurance, and validation of system enhancements.
- Create and maintain application documentation, workflow materials, and support resources.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and support effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with related Epic application teams, which may include Orders, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Radiant, Willow, and Security.
- Support initiatives focused on Emergency Department efficiency, workflow optimization,



and patient experience.
- Participate in implementation, enhancement, or upgrade activities as applicable to assigned projects.

What You’ll Bring

Required

- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare, acute care, emergency services, hospital operations, healthcare IT, clinical support, or a related environment.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate professionally in written and spoken English.
- Understanding of clinical and/or hospital operational workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and technical teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and continuous-learning mindset.

Preferred
- Epic experience or certification.
- Epic ASAP experience.
- Experience working in an Emergency Department or acute care environment.
- Experience with emergency medicine, emergency nursing, or hospital-based clinical operations.
- Experience with patient tracking or Emergency Department information systems.
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
- Healthcare technology or consulting experience.
- U.S. healthcare experience.
- Experience supporting clinical application implementations, upgrades, testing, or optimization.
