RF DAS Engineer is responsible for designing, testing and optimizing cellular in-building networks. Position responsibilities include processing and analyzing test data to be presented to the customer or may require time to be spent in market or on customer site to collect and analyze relevant data. Information is gathered on a laptop using industry standard tools.

Education: BSc degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent and minimum 1-3 years field experience or returning interns

Certifications/Training: Alcatel Lucent/Nokia/Ericsson RAN, DAS Vendors

Work Experience: Knowledge of LTE, VoLTE, UMTS, EvDo/CDMA system specifications

Reports To:Project Lead/Project Manager

Working Conditions: Willing to work under aggressive project timelines to meet project deliverables.





English Level:Intermediate/Advanced (B2 or higher). Must be able to read and speak fluently

Responsibilities and essential functions of the job:
- Create DAS designs using engineering software tools such as iBwave and ATOLL
- Perform system testing utilizing JDSU, TEMS, scanners, spectrum analyzers, power meters, optical test equipment and other testing tools.
- Analyze and summarize test data to evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Optimize networks to meet contracted KPIs
- Should be experienced with DAS equipment (i.e. CommScope, TE, and Mobile Access)
- Experience with CW testing of antenna placements and establishing link budgets
- Facilitate timely and effective customer communication through regular meetings, reporting, site visits and conference calls
- Manage and direct resources, technical staffing and vendors to perform engineering services in compliance with contracted time
