Our headquarters is in sunny Sydney, Australia, but our team spans the globe. While we support adaptable, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role, we’re focusing on Mexico City, Mexico so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Architecting and launching Canva's partnership strategy in Mexico — mapping and prioritising the highest-value opportunities across telcos, fintechs, payments providers, marketplaces, and SMB networks, then going out and making them happen.
- Closing and activating strategic partnerships end-to-end — you'll own the deal from first conversation through commercial structuring, activation, and long-term performance, ensuring partnerships deliver sustained growth in users and revenue.
- Building joint go-to-market and lifecycle activation playbooks in close collaboration with Marketing, Product, Growth, Content, and Localization teams — creating the infrastructure that makes every partnership repeatable and scalable.
- Owning senior external relationships with key partners — navigating complex commercial negotiations, aligning on shared KPIs, and deepening trust with the ecosystem players that matter most in the Mexican market.
- Establishing the partnerships operating rhythm — commercial modelling, performance reporting, partner tracking, and the cadence that keeps the function sharp and accountable.
