Role Definition
Provides manufacturing engineering support and project coordination for one or two assigned product groups. Serves as the primary manufacturing contact and coordinates product introductions, product modifications, drawing releases, and engineering changes. The role combines technical knowledge of welding and assembly processes with project planning, cross-functional coordination, documentation control, and data analysis.

Responsibilities




- Serve as the primary manufacturing contact for one or two assigned product groups and maintain effective communication with participating functions.
- Participate in product and process development meetings and support the review and approval of new drawing releases.
- Coordinate product introduction and modification projects, including activities, owners, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Manage engineering changes with machine-level effectivity and ensure appropriate follow-up from technical evaluation through production implementation.
- Analyze engineering change notices to determine effects on parts, manufacturing methods, welding and assembly processes, tooling, documentation, and production operations.
- Develop and maintain organized manufacturing and project documentation to support implementation, traceability, and cross-functional communication.
