OVERVIEW

AS Automation is seeking a Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative industrial automation solutions.

The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing mechanical designs, components, systems, and technical solutions according to customer requirements and project objectives. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including automation engineers, electrical engineers, technicians, project managers, suppliers, and customers, to transform technical requirements into efficient, reliable, and manufacturable solutions.

The adecuado candidate has a strong technical background, proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, problem-solving skills, and a passion for industrial automation, engineering, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

· Collaborate with engineering, automation, electrical, and project teams to understand customer requirements, project objectives, technical specifications, and design constraints.

· Design and develop mechanical components,



assemblies, equipment, and systems for industrial automation projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

· Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, layouts, assemblies, and technical documentation to support engineering and manufacturing activities.

· Develop mechanical solutions for automation equipment, machinery, production lines, tooling, fixtures, and custom industrial applications.

· Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analyses to validate and optimize designs for functionality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and performance.

· Evaluate and select appropriate materials, components, manufacturing processes, and technologies according to project requirements, performance, availability, and cost.

· Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source mechanical components, materials, and specialized equipment, evaluating technical proposals
