Job purposeBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for an "agile, results driven" individual to join as SLP MANAGER, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT. In this role, this individual is responsible for functionally managing and leading a team of program & launch managers within the SLP site ensuring the team is meeting or exceeding internal and external (to BorgWarner) expectations including project timing, technical content (product and process), cost, and quality from award to production launch. The Manager, Program Management will report to the PDS Director of Sales & Program Management, Americas.
Ensures a robust and efficient program management discipline is followed, including compliance to the PDS Product Development Process [PDP]Raise the expectations of the SLP program management team by developing & institutionalizing an entrepreneurial spirit within the team.
Improves communication and ensures SLP Operational requirements are addressed by Sales, Product Engineering, and Program Management.
Escalates and drives issues appropriately (both internally and externally)
