As a Quality Manager, the incumbent oversees a team, handling planning, training, performance evaluations, and personnel issues. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global quality teams and suppliers. Responsibilities include employee development, problem-solving, and implementing solutions to meet key quality goals such as customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and certification standards.
Manage Metrology assets to ensure process and material quality across operations and supplier quality.
Implement digital measurement and gage traceability to improve accuracy and reduce inspection errors.
Implement global quality tools and processes, including APQP, PPAP, and MQ11005/MQ12005, aligned with CPS.
Lead capital projects supporting departmental growth and long-term objectives.
Manage quality plans,



audits, and reporting to meet Caterpillar and QS9000 standards.
Analyze inspection data, report defects, and drive continuous improvement across production.
Serve as the customer quality contact, managing feedback, rework, and shop-floor issues.
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or any related engineering degree.
