Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Leads all phases of large-scale assigned process or manufacturing improvement projects.
Implements process improvements to meet quality standards including automation concepts
Serves as an expert resource to other engineers and coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects
Implementing automation projects for manufacturing machines and assembly lines
Support programming, debugging and troubleshooting of PLC, Robots, and HMI hardware and software.
Focus project management, new equipment design and installation as well as existing equipment, enhancement and modification.
Leverage automation technology and work with automation suppliers to implement reliable automation solutions.
May design and program CNC equipment to utilize to full capacity.
Designs and implements new line layouts or re-designs plant layout.
Provides technical leadership/training and/or coaching to other team members.
Technical Knowledge in Control's Engineering and/or Automated Systems.

Ability to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.
Effective oral and written communication skills and good project management skills.

Bachelor in electrical engineering, automation, controls engineering, maintenance or a related field required.
~ 5 years of experience in industrial automation and machinery integration.
~ Be extremely proficient in programming PLC, Robots, and HMI.
~ Must know how to program microcontrollers (PIC, Arduino, Raspberry PI)
~ Knows how to handle Ether(CAD/NET), IO Link, Profi(NET/BUS), RS-232/485& Device Net communication protocols.
~ Must have knowledge of high level programming (C++, Python, Assembly, Java & Shell Script)
~ Good project management and project financial justification skills.
~ Knowledge of electric motor manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing will be a plus.
