Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Test Engineer.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. What You'll Do

Position Overview

In this role, the Test Technician is responsible for the execution of product testing, data acquisition and the reporting of component performance for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls products designed in Reynosa, MX. You will work with the internal product teams to understand testing requirements for various products. You will lead validation testing.

In This Function You Will




- Work with a integral cross-functional team to develop, launch new designs and provide sustaining support for switches, keypads, rotary encoder, and other commercial vehicle electrical products.
- Participate in the launch of new products following the Eaton PROLaunch stage-gate process.
- Conduct testing of product changes and new products in accordance with standards and customer requirements to confirm conformance.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement programs and activities such as Cost Out, IDEAS program, VA/VE, Lean events among others.
- Provides technical support to functional areas to solve issues, find root causes, and assemble action plans.
- Define specifications, develop, procure, and validate functional test solutions for NPI and production environment according to specification, requirements and standards of Engineering, Quality, and customer.
