Role Description The Chief Financial Officer is a full-time hybrid role based in Monterrey, N.L. The CFO oversees all financial operations — budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting — ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. A central part of the role is treasury and foreign exchange management: overseeing multi-currency exposure, designing and executing hedging strategies, managing international payments and collections, and maintaining relationships with banking partners in Mexico and abroad. The CFO also prepares and analyzes financial statements, develops long-term financial plans, and advises the executive team on strategic investments, risk management, and capital allocation. The role includes leading and mentoring the finance team, strengthening internal controls, coordinating audits,



and improving systems for financial process and data integrity. Day to day: reviewing KPIs, working with cross-functional leaders, presenting results to senior management, and turning financial data into actionable decisions. Qualifications - Strong foundation in corporate finance and financial management - Demonstrated experience managing multi-currency operations (USD, EUR, or others) and cross-border transactions - Hands-on experience with FX risk management, forwards, options, swaps, or other hedging instruments - Experience managing international banking relationships and comparing terms across institutions - Familiarity with trade finance: import/export financing, letters of credit, and short-term liquidity instruments - Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modeling - Proficiency preparing and reviewing financial statements under applicable standards - Experience with financial reporting, including management and board-level presentations - Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into strategic recommendations - Proven leadership managing finance teams and working with executive stakeholders - Experience with ERP or treasury management systems; strong Excel and financial modeling skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certification (CPA, CFA, MBA) preferred - Working knowledge of Mexican financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit processes - Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
