As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our expanding metal mechanic /manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the plant.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
Facilitate Kaizen events and implement Lean tools.
Analyze manufacturing processes using data-driven methodologies.
Develop and monitor KPIs to measure improvement results.
Coach and mentor teams in Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality,
and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
3+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication experience preferred)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5 S, Standard Work, and Root Cause Analysis
Conversational and written English required
Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead change initiatives
