We’re looking for a talented and results-oriented Software Engineer to work remotely as a key member, expanding engineering team. You’ll help build and evolve our next-generation cloud based compute platform for digitally-delivered life insurance. This is your opportunity to make a large impact at a high-growth enterprise software company in the life insurance space. You’ll collaborate with other developers and a product manager to build software in support of a suite of business applications and their worldwide delivery teams, all of whom count on a high performance, reliable, extensible backend. What you will do
Work on the development of features that optimize Sureify’s main platform; Evaluate and document the currently existing integrations; Work with CI / CD / Ia C; Writing clear technical documentation; Work in a Dedicated Agile Delivery environment; Working in a remote environment. MUST HAVES
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years of experience writing production-quality code,



ideally on core software product development (not only professional services or implementation projects); Strong proficiency with React and solid experience with Node JS; Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in frontend architecture; Experience with Test Driven Development; Experience designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications; Hands-on experience with relational databases such as My SQL, Oracle, or Postgre SQL; Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, XML, JSON); Exposure to Cloud services and Dev Ops tools (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes); Comfortable working in Pacific Time Zone hours as needed; Upper-Intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVES
