OverviewVOLCANIX AUTOMATION is seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support high-speed industrial automation projects across North America.
This role involves PLC programming, system commissioning, and integration for advanced manufacturing systems.The position will be primarily based in the West GTA region of Ontario, Canada, working in a workshop environment for approximately 7 months.
Following this phase, there may be opportunities to participate in short-term on-site installation assignments in the United States or other countries, depending on project requirements and candidate availability.
After completing these assignments, the employee will return to Canada to continue with additional commissioning projects.
There is also the option to pursue long-term on-site assignments based on both candidate preference and business needs.QualificationsStrong experience with PLC programming, including:Allen-BradleySCADA systems and HMI (PanelView)Vision systemsExperience in high-speed automation environmentsExperience with robotics is a plusLife sciencesHigh-speed production linesPharmaceutical and medical device automationRequirementsWillingness to travelAbility to work on customer sites across North AmericaStrong troubleshooting skillsExcellent English communication skillsEngineering or technical degree preferredWork AuthorizationEligible for a TN VisaAuthorized to work in North AmericaAdditional InformationTravel and work-related expenses will be covered by the company
