Job Description:
Demand & Supply Planning associates, processing, and analyzing demand from our customers in different dimensions providing a holistic business view including risk and opportunity scenarios across functions for aligned decision-making and proactive actions on end-to-end supply capability and inventory management. Target is to achieve financial performance and customer expectations for any given channel or product.
Responsibilities:
- Review and action MRP output
- Release and manage purchase orders.
- Review and transmit production need dates and forecast to contract manufacturers.
- Lead production meetings with suppliers to ensure production goals are obtained.
- Inventory management such as excess & obsolete review, PPV review, action PO change messages, and review of contract manufacturers third party purchasing practices.
- Summarize and report risk to production plans and formulate action plans to resolve and prevent such risk.
- Manage impact on the demand plan from new product releases and engineering changes to existing products with properly executed phase in /phase out plans.
- Interface with order fulfilment to determine proper customer priorities and allocate supply appropriate to orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent in Business.
- 3 years production planning/purchasing experience.
- Strong working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
- SAP
- Kinaxis Rapid Response (Control Tower)
- APICS certification a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Access.
