**The Job**:
The HR Director serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders and is responsible for aligning people strategy with business objectives across both commercial and manufacturing organizations.
This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, workforce planning, culture, and change management.
As a Human Resources Director, you'll be part of our Mexico team working as a hybrid employee.
You'll get to:
- Guide and manage the overall Human Resources function, services, policies, and programs as well as promote and implement human resource values by planning and managing HR programs for Stanley Black & Decker's Mexico operation.
- Translate business strategy into people priorities, workforce plans, and organizational actions.
- Provide leadership on talent management, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
- Partner with leaders to design and implement organizational structures that support growth, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Support commercial teams in areas such as capability building, sales effectiveness, organizational design, and talent planning.
- Support manufacturing leaders in workforce planning, labor strategy,



employee engagement, frontline leadership effectiveness, and operational culture.
- Lead change management efforts tied to transformation, restructuring, growth initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Use people data and business insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence and HR operations teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Coach leaders on employee relations, team effectiveness, leadership capability, and organizational health.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture across both office-based and plant-based populations.
- Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Complies with federal, state,



and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.

You also have:
- At least 8 years of experience in Human Resources Management
- Experience working within a highly matrixed multinational company
- Advanced English skills a must
- Strong business acumen, judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience supporting commercial organizations/functions as well as manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders on strategic and operational people matters.
- Strong experience in organizational design, talent management, change management, and employee relations
