**The opportunity for you**:
**What you'll do in a typical week**:
- Make outbound calls to drivers during the night shift to confirm the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for scheduled deliveries or pickups.
- Monitor driver locations and on-time status using GPS/ELD systems or dispatch software.
- _Provide EFS (Electronic Funds Source) codes to drivers upon request for lumper fee payments._
- Accurately document communication with drivers and lumper transactions in the dispatch system.
- Communicate with brokers, receivers, or warehouse contacts when necessary to update on delays or scheduling issues.
- Handle any minor issues or delays during the night shift and escalate urgent matters to the on-call manager if needed.
- Prepare and submit a shift summary or handoff report to the day shift dispatcher.
**What you know**:
- Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and external partners.
- Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS tracking tools
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
- Reliable and punctual,



with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

**Work Schedule**
The position follows an evening shift, running **Wednesday through Sunday, from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM**.
For clarity, the schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday 5:00 PM - Thursday 1:00 AM
- Thursday 5:00 PM - Friday 1:00 AM
- Saturday 5:00 PM - Sunday 1:00 AM
- Sunday 5:00 PM - Monday 1:00 AM
This schedule includes a **one-hour meal/rest break**
