Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a background in Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) and Process engineering.
This role is responsible for driving quality performance across operations and the supply base, improving manufacturing and service processes, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products.The adecuado candidate combines strong analytical skills, supplier management experience, and hands‐on process improvement expertise to support operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Quality & DevelopmentPartner with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and performance expectationsDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, CAPA) for production and supplier-related issuesSupport supplier onboarding, PPAP/APQP processes, and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain supplier scorecards and performance metricsOperations & Process ImprovementAnalyze and improve internal processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performanceApply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, DMAIC, etc.)Identify process gaps and implement sustainable corrective actionsDevelop and maintain process documentation, control plans, and standard work instructionsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering,



and procurement teamsQuality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with internal quality systems and external standards (ISO, regulatory, etc.)Lead root cause analysis for internal and customer quality issuesImplement preventive measures to reduce defects and variabilityData & Performance ManagementTrack, analyze, and report key quality and operational KPIsUtilize data-driven insights to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesDrive measurable improvements in quality, delivery, and cost performanceQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)3–7+ years of experience in:Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE)Process Engineering or Manufacturing EngineeringStrong experience with root cause analysis and problem‐solving tools (8D, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)Knowledge of quality systems (ISO **** or similar)Bi‐Lingual English / SpanishPreferred:Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier qualification processesExperience in multi‐site or decentralized operations environmentsFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management toolsKey CompetenciesStrong problem‐solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to influence suppliers and internal teamsResults‐driven with continuous improvement mindsetHigh level of organization and attention to detail#J-*****-Ljbffr
