**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**
- Oversee daily accounting operations, identify errors, and coordinate with property managers to resolve them.
- Review debit/credit card transactions, collect receipts from Property Managers, and map expenses to proper GL accounts.
- Perform monthly closing procedures.
- Follow the closing process for each property we manage.
- Upload updated insurance invoices to A/P.
- Update bank transactions in QuickBooks.
- Update leasing activity reports (move-outs, renewals, new leases) and audit concession end dates on new leases.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights to management
- Effective communication and interaction with Asset Management and Property Management on strategic operational planning.
**REQUIREMENTS**




- 5+ years of experience in property accounting, real estate finance or similar roles.
- English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Solid understanding of A/P, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly closings.
- Ability to detect, analyze, and proactively resolve accounting irregularities.
- Comfortable communicating directly with operations/property management teams.
- Experience with US accounting operations and US GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks.
**Would be nice to have**:
- Entrata experience for property management.
- Experience in multifamily or commercial property management accounting.
