Tele-Help-Ing is seeking an experienced Healthcare HR Manager to provide dedicated human resources support for one of our healthcare clients.

This position owns the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, credentialing, compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS management, and offboarding.

The adecuado candidate has hands-on HR experience within healthcare, behavioral health, or another regulated environment and is comfortable independently managing multiple hiring pipelines, employee matters, and compliance responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Hiring

- Manage active recruiting pipelines for clinical and administrative positions
- Manage job postings across Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clinical leadership
- Manage offer letters and pre-hire communication
- Track open positions, time-to-fill, and candidate pipeline health
- Proactively identify potential staffing and coverage risks

Onboarding & Credentialing

- Manage new-hire onboarding from beginning to end
- Coordinate employment agreements, employment eligibility verification, and benefits enrollment
- Coordinate required background checks and employment clearances
- Maintain credentialing documentation for clinical employees
- Track required professional certifications and education verification
- Maintain accurate documentation to support payer, vendor, and other applicable audits

HR Compliance & Employee Records

- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready personnel files
- Respond to credentialing and employment documentation requests
- Maintain HR policies, employment agreements, and employee handbook documentation
- Help ensure employment practices remain compliant with California requirements
- Support internal investigations, disciplinary matters, suspensions, and terminations




- Coordinate with leadership and employment counsel when sensitive matters require escalation
- Maintain appropriate and confidential documentation

Benefits, Payroll Coordination & HRIS

- Administer employee benefits enrollment and changes
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Coordinate with payroll and bookkeeping partners regarding new hires, employee changes, and separations
- Ensure employee information and changes are processed accurately and on time

Employee Relations

- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns
- Provide professional and confidential support to employees
- Identify matters requiring escalation to leadership or employment counsel
- Maintain appropriate documentation regarding employee relations matters
- Support consistent HR practices across the organization

Offboarding

- Manage employee offboarding from beginning to end
- Coordinate final-pay compliance and required separation documentation
- Coordinate equipment returns and access removal
- Maintain accurate exit and separation records
- Ensure offboarding requirements are completed accurately and on schedule

Qualifications

- 3+ years of HR generalist, HR management, or similar human resources experience
- Healthcare or behavioral health HR experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of California employment law and wage-and-hour requirements
- Experience working with an HRIS; Rippling experience is a plus




- Experience managing recruiting and applicant-tracking workflows
- Familiarity with employee background checks and credentialing processes in a licensed, healthcare, payer-regulated, or similar environment is a strong plus
- Experience coordinating employee changes with payroll or bookkeeping teams
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee-relations priorities simultaneously
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Success in this role means maintaining strong recruiting pipelines, moving candidates efficiently through hiring and onboarding, keeping personnel and credentialing records accurate and audit-ready, responding promptly to employee needs, and maintaining consistent HR processes.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of HR operations, staying ahead of deadlines, identifying potential issues early, and escalating sensitive matters appropriately.
