The Patient Advocacy Manager for Specialty Care will be responsible for developing and implementing patient advocacy strategies that align with GSK’s mission and business objectives. This role will focus on building relationships with patient communities, patient advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders to support patients' needs and promote access to specialty care treatments in Mexico. This role is critical in influencing public policies and ensuring that patients' voices are heard and considered in decision-making processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Strategy Development**:Develop and implement patient advocacy strategies and initiatives for specialty care in alignment with GSK’s global and local objectives.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**:Build and maintain strong relationships with patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- ** Advocacy and Policy**:Monitor and analyze healthcare policies and regulations that impact patient access to specialty care treatments and work within the Government Affairs team to identify and analyze public policies that impact patients.
- ** Communication and Education**:Develop educational materials and communication strategies to raise awareness about specialty care conditions and treatments.
- ** Collaboration and Teamwork**:Work closely with internal teams, including medical affairs, marketing, regulatory, and legal, to ensure alignment and compliance with GSK policies and regulations. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve patient advocacy objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, communications, or a related field.




- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient advocacy, public affairs, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding of the specialty care landscape and patient advocacy in Mexico.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills (ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Detail-oriented
