DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Mexico City teams into assuring that the software that is delivered in fireTV and other Amazon devices meets the Amazon high quality bar.
Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include developing and executing the long term strategy for Amazon devices, with a focus on automation and scaling across millions of devices in production. The right leader is capable on hiring and growing talent across different job roles and families; from manual testing, automated testers, and technicians that support our state of the art datacenter.
A day in the life
With your team, you independently assure that new features and capabilities for Amazon devices are tested at the right level. You and your team gate releases so that Amazon customers receive the best quality possible devices. On a weekly basis,



you meet with internal executives and stakeholders to inform them on progress towards releasing software, inform on risks and present a plan to success.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
