This Position reports to:
R&D; Department Lead México
**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB’s business units. Each day, you will facilitate the end-to-end execution of one or more Research and Development projects. You will also showcase your expertise by achieving associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes.

This role is contributing to the R&D; area in the Electrical Distribution Systems division in San Luis Potosi.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leads and supports local and cross-functional project teams in projects with limited complexity and / or sub-projects of a complex project.
- Motivates and monitors internal and/or external resources (budget/headcount) to accomplish all committed targets.
- Fosters a positive team environment,



technical excellence, and continuous attention to quality and built-in quality practices.
- Ensure objectives, priorities, key decisions, and status are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
- Leads Dayly/Monthly projects advance communication meetings, manages Minute of Meetings and follow to agreed actions..
**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ Years Experience in electrical industry with at least 4 years managing projects
- Financial concepts understanding.(forescast & budget)
- MS Project (or similar PM software), Excel and ERP (SAP, others) experience
- Advaced English and Ability to travel 30% national and international (USA VISA desirable)
- PMI/PMBOK knowledge and experience, PMP certification (desirable).
- Strong electrical and electronic knowledge, and understanding of UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards (preferred)
