Our Mexico office is a fast-growing, dynamic team of 12 professionals working across automotive, lifestyle, and other industries, delivering personnel training, hospitality, marketing activations, and PR campaigns. While we are a small, agile team locally, we are part of a larger integral organization with deep expertise and resources.
We are seeking a visionary General Director to lead our Mexico office, drive business growth, and strengthen our relationships with key clients and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a growing agency with a strong foundation and high-profile clients.
**The Role-**The General Director will oversee all operations of the Mexico office, acting as the key link between our local team and the CEO, who directly supports the office. This person will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and building high-level relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
**Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Leadership & Strategy**
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the Mexico office.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the agency’s presence and client portfolio
- Act as the primary point of contact with executive leadership for Mexico operations.
- Anticipate and address operational, compliance, and reputational risks in Mexico
**Sales & Client Engagement**:
- Lead sales initiatives, client relationship management, and business development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Support clients in sales force training programs and deliver high-impact learning experiences.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Represent the agency at client meetings, events, and industry functions.
**Operations & Administration**:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency across departments.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the Mexico office.
- Ensure proper interpretation and execution of business contracts.
- Ensure smooth operation of the physical office, including equipment, supplies, and safety.
- Manage office leases, maintenance, and vendor services
**Hospitality & Event Management**:
- Leverage deep hospitality expertise to design and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Oversee live event planning and execution, ensuring premium service standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless events.
**Human Resources & Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and HR best practices.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, Payroll and staff management.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, training, and organizational development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Marketing, Hospitality, Live Events, or related industries.
- Proven track record in training and developing client sales teams to achieve performance goals.
- Strong administrative and operational management experience.
- Expertise in hospitality operations, live event execution, and client-facing services.
- Understanding knowledge of HR practices and labor laws in Mexico.
- Experience interpreting business contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and delegate effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a creative approach to solving problems and delivering value.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and project management tools.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven client-facing experience.
- Ability to travel internationally as business requires.
- Mexico City based; preferred age range: 35-50.

legally required benefits in accordance with Mexican labor regulations, including social security, vacation days, vacation bonus, year-end bonus, and housing contributions through INFONAVIT. In addition, we provide extra benefits, such as private medical insurance through SOFIA.
**Pay**:130,000-150,000 Gross Monthly (MXN) DOE
