As a **Production Planner**, you will be responsible for enhance the manufacturing of products in the plant through effective production scheduling, ensuring that manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently, and optimizing resource utilization. The Production Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating the production schedule, ensuring that delivery and quality objectives are met. Additionally, they will be responsible for analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing continuous improvements to processes, in full compliance with PPG Comex policies.
This position reports to the Warehouse and In-Process Production Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production.
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and quality departments.
- Monitor compliance with production timelines.
- Analyze production data and generate performance reports.
- Manage plant and warehouse inventories to ensure on time replenishment according to policy.
- Review customer requests daily to produce materials on time and in the correct manner, meeting customer demand.
**Qualifications**
- Experience 2 or more years of experience in a similar position.
- Industrial Engineer or similar.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems,



understanding of inbound and outbound warehouse processes, production coordination, and inventory control.
