As a Sr Tech Supp Specialist here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of support specialists, ensuring successful execution of support activities and high-quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical support requirements. You will report directly to our Sr Tech Supp Supervisor and you’ll work out of our San Luis Potosi location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers. You will join a diverse and talented team that provides professional coverage and support to ticket and label printers, mobile devices and scanners. You will support focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues. You will build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases. You will develop a broad understanding of customer needs. You will support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will help develop Technical Support processes. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will address systemic coordination issues.
- Provide technical support via phone, mail and support portal for ticket and label printers, mobile devices and scanners
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software related issues.
- Collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex issues.
- Create, maintain and promote corrections on technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, user guides and FAQ documents.




- Participate in training and certifications programs to stay up-to-date on new products and technologies.
- Meet performance metrics that include, but are not limited to, problem resolution, customer satisfaction, response time, handling time, etc.
**MUST HAVE**
- IT background (degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field) with 0 - 1 year of experience in technical support
- Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fundamentals: (TCP/IP, Network topologies, devices, etc.)
- Protocols: (DHCP, DNS, HTTTS, FTP, etc.)Wireless networking: (Wi-Fi Standards, security, configurations, etc.)
