Purpose Statement: Responsible for providing technical support on CRG's and Normal Production supporting on troubleshooting and feedback to process the analysis and root cause detection of defects. Debug Technicians are a key resource for the Focus Factory (FF) team with the diagnostic and validation of the nonconforming material to return to Normal Process.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Participates in troubleshooting and debug of no conformal material of CRG and Normal Production.
- Perform CRG and no conformal material of Normal Production preparation and initial assessment of defective, electronic, electrical and mechanical parts.
- Write reports to summarize findings using Microsoft Word, PPT or Excel and convert to PDF as required).
- Establish standard assessment practices and create documentation as debug guide and Cook Books.
- Monitoring inventory on debug area to implement actions to avoid his increasing out of stablished limits.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Assist in the assessment and inventories.
- Support FFs troubleshooting CRGs in both manufacturing and customer sites.
- Support on generation of FA reports.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Technician electronic degree,
Engineering or equivalent experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies or similar Engineering is preferred.
- One (1) years of related experience is required; Two (2) years or more of related experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, is a plus.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
- Organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Prefered skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Strong Electronic skills and interpretation of schematics also components datasheet knowledge.
- Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- General office equipment and materials.
Work Environment:
- The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
