RESPONSIBILITIES

- Controls and manages the quality of production in full compliance with SOPs. Identifies problems early on and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Monitors vendor performance and implement vendor development activities to improve capability and for continuous improvement.
- Calibrates auditors and inspectors (MCAs & FCAs) to brand requirements.
- Participates or conducts quality review meetings with brand point persons on a regular basis.
- Audits, reviews and prepares audit reports; Ensure timely reporting and tracking of key performance indicators.
- Approves samples prior to production.
- Conducts factory evaluation and provide recommendations.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Factory Certified Auditor / Factory Certified Executive (FCA/FCE) Program , ensuring alignment with general quality standards and business objectives.
- Develop factory quality capability through structured training, coaching, certification, and mentoring of Factory Certified Auditors / Factory Certified Executives (FCA/FCEs) and factory quality leadership teams.




- Drive the transition from an inspection-based quality model to a capability-driven quality management system by embedding preventive quality practices and quality ownership within factories.
- Establish and maintain FCA/FCE competency standards, certification criteria, calibration processes, governance, and ongoing performance evaluations.
- Identify capability gaps across factories and implement targeted development plans to strengthen technical knowledge, problem-solving, leadership capability, and quality ownership.
- Monitor FCA/FCE certification status, effectiveness, and performance metrics to ensure certified personnel consistently meet brand requirements and deliver sustainable quality performance.
- Partner with vendor leadership to build sustainable quality systems, strengthen process controls, and increase factory accountability for end-to-end quality performance.
- Lead quality transformation initiatives focused on improving Right-First-Time (RFT), reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), minimizing defects, and enhancing manufacturing capability.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging quality data, root cause analysis, best practice sharing, and lessons learned across the vendor network.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for the FCA/FCE Program , supporting factory onboarding, certification audits, refresher training, governance, and program expansion across the vendor base.

REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, therein at least 3 years in management experience
- Degree in fashion and clothing technology or its equivalent
- Hands-on knowledge of different garment categories such as Knits, Intimates, Woven. Experience in intimates - Panty and Bra will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of patterns, grading and sewing process is a plus
- Competent at approving production samples
- Direct and able to influence factories on production issues
- Good leadership skills; able to manage resources effectively
- Able to work independently & effectively with all levels in a multicultural and multinational setting
- Good command of written and spoken English
