Responsible for procurement portion within supply chain (both materials and services), ensuring that Vertiv is being competitive in the market, with best prices, conditions and quality, by negotiating with current suppliers and developing new ones.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new suppliers locally and internationally, based on Procurement, Quality and EHS premises.
- Formalize and sign agreements with suppliers to mitigate legal risks to the company.
- Follow-up with market trend, analyzing data regarding commodity prices, inflation and other market indicators to guide the procurement strategy.
- Maintain ERP updated with latest terms negotiated with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Minimum number of 4-8 years of experience in procurement field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred number of 4-8 years of experience in services procurement field.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience) - Business Administration, Civil Engineering or others related Engineering field, Foreign Trade
