GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.
The Commercial Credit Audit Senior Representative is responsible to manage Floor Plan Audits, analyze, evaluate and present audit performance reports of customers (dealer?s network and fleet customers) based on result analysis. The main activities include audits execution, administration, coordinate with the field representatives (Vendor or GMF) to perform the audits, review and recording results, collection of units derived from the results and elaboration of reports. Commercial Credit is responsible to contribute to the development and maintain commercial relationship with dealer?s network and fleet customers, attending financial needs, products, plans and administrative services. The main customers of the Audit area are the dealer?s network, lease-rental companies, Dealer Development, and Administration of Commercial Credit area
- Administration and follow-up of audits in process, support auditors providing guidance, making decisions based on policies and procedures and appropriately manage any risk situation presented.
- Management of the collection of sales and irregularities identified during the execution of the audit.
- Review audit results during the audit for the action plans establishment.
- Implement and follow up preventive and corrective actions in critical processes.
- Teamwork, support for monitoring activities and risk management with dealers.
- Generate reports to show audit results and activities of the department.
- Prepare and provide information related to process reviews.
- Ensure the Audit process is aligned with policy.
- Visit dealers in Mexico to execute audits and elaborate expenses reports according to policies.
- Bachelor's degree in administration, Economy, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Experience in credit and collections management.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word, etc.)
- Experience in database management
- Experience in customer service.
- Preferred experience in generation of macros and/or Power BI
- English proficiency (will be evaluated during interview).
- Knowledge of audit processes.
- Effective communication skills (written, oral, presentations, etc.).
- Negotiation and management of adverse situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and organized
- Ability to identify problems, collect and analyse information to identify cause and effect in processes, develop feasible solutions and make decisions in audits based on experience and following policies and procedures.
- Ability to focus on objectives and organize work effectively so that priorities are met.
- Highly inquisitive during the execution of audits and of the existing processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Excel.
- High analytical capacity.
- Ability to create strategic reports, dashboards and presentations.
- Travel availability to Mexico different locations 40% (traveling to Peru is not required)
