It is an exciting, fast-paced, and growing business.ResponsibilitiesDesign engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.Provide tier 4 engineering support, investigate hardware related field and factory issues and determine root cause(s).
Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, system power measurements & acoustics.Use continuous improvement methodology to continuously improve performance, reliability and quality while reducing cost.Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers.Lead and/or work on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams with other engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for highly-complex products.Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced development partners, and other key stakeholders regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.Education & Experience RecommendedBachelor's (undergraduate) degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
