About the Role
We are looking for an
Accountant
to join our team in Mexico. This position is adecuado for a detail-oriented and organized professional with solid experience in accounting and tax compliance. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and contribute to delivering high-quality services to clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting (e.g., Athos, ITS, Cash Flow)
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks in line with deadlines and quality standards
Prepare and maintain accounting records, including financial statements and related reports
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and annual tax filings
Coordinate with external parties (e.g., translators, notaries) for procedures with RNIE, IMSS, SAT, etc.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Record and reconcile general ledger accounts
Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records
Support payroll processing and calculation of related taxes (ISN, IMSS, Infonavit)
Prepare and submit tax returns to SAT (monthly and annual)
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and high-quality client service
Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance,



and professionalism in all tasks
Communicate accounting information clearly and effectively
Requirements
Spanish (Native) and English (Basic)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance (5 years)
Knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulations
Experience preparing financial records and supporting tax filings
Familiarity with payroll processes and related taxes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with accounting systems and financial tools
Exposure to working with multiple clients or in a professional services environment
Basic knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
