The Buyer is responsible for purchases and planning while maintaining constant communication with vendors and shipping companies to make sure delivery dates are aligned.RequirementsExperience in purchases and/or planning and expedite raw materials (shortages), maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in routeHave worked in Manufacturing industryContact suppliers to ensure that all dropship purchase orders were received and that deliveries will ship on timeKnowledge of customer order requirements and production capacity to acknowledge shipping dates for assigned production areasNotify if a critical delivery is going to be lateKnowledge in communicate issues/concerns related to schedule changes caused by design problems, capacity limitations or material shortages to appropriate levels within the organization.Communicate production and project management team in a timely manner issues/concerns related to schedule changes caused by design problems,
