**Medical Billing Coding Specialist**Remote Position - TijuanaOptumus, is a Healthcare Technology Company that offers a variety of services to medical practices and hospitals.We have an immediate opening for a Full-time Medical Billing Specialist.Our Team members perform various day-to-day patient account functions for our Medical, Behavioral Health, and Specialty programs.Duties include patient and third-party billing, problem resolution, review of patients records to determine proper CPT/ICD-10 coding, interacting with physicians to ensure coding accuracy, and account inquiries.Familiarity with Managed Care, Medicare, and commercial insurance programs is essential.Experience in the use and review of electronic health records is a requirement.Strong computer, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally, by phone and in written formats are necessary.Skills and Qualifications:**Requirements**:- 2+ years of ICD-10-CM and/or CPT coding experience is a must.
- 2+ years experience working on USA based healthcare billing or medical office- Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge required.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized, have excellent time-management skills, and have good analytical and problem-solving ability.




- Multiple EMR system knowledge- Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills required.
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, demanding work environment required.
