We are an AS**** certified QMS Machine and Fabrication job shop always working on something new.You'll never get bored.We do aerospace tooling, rocket launch tooling, production, testing, prototype, and everything in-between if there is anything else...Two Shifts AvailableM-Th 1:00 pm to 11:30 amM-Fr 7 am to 3:30 pm (earlier start possible)ResponsibilitiesReview planning/engineering, work instructions and tooling to verify appropriate work process and quality requirements before starting job.Perform accurate and timely completion of all job order documentation and associated paperwork, part counts, tie-in information, etc.Ability to operate machines with minimal direction.Run multiple CNC mill and/or lathe machinesWork complex setups on 3, 4, 5 axis mills or multi-axis lathesWork well with team membersExperience in use of precision hand tools.Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/ManagementQualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinistKnowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.Print reading skills including GD&T; per ASME Y14.5M-**** standard.Excellent communication skills.Ability to read and interpret documentsAble to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accuratelyKnowledge of inspection equipment such as; calipers, micrometers, and depth gaugesFamiliar with use of personal computers.Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.DesiredFanuc, DMG and Haas controlsMulti-axis lathe and mill experience preferred.Machining of nickel-based stainless steel alloys, copper, titanium preferred.Excellent work ethic.Excellent attention to detail.Eager to learn.Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).
