Most recruiters fill positions. You'll build the teams powering the future of energy.

If you enjoy technical recruiting, partnering with business leaders, and becoming an expert in a highly specialized industry, this is the opportunity for you!

At Ammper, Talent Acquisition is more than filling positions—it's about building the teams that drive our growth and shape the future of our business.

About Ammper

Ammper is a Mexican company with a general footprint and one of the leading participants in Mexico's Wholesale Electricity Market.

Founded during Mexico's Energy Reform, we've spent the last decade helping companies such as Caterpillar, Audi, BMW, Grupo Modelo, and FRISA optimize their energy strategy through a portfolio that combines renewable energy and natural gas.

Our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, and we are proud to be part of INVEX Controladora, a diversified organization with businesses across energy, banking, infrastructure, and investments.

Today, Ammper operates from offices in Mexico City, Querétaro, Monterrey, Texas, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

We're growing rapidly. Our Operations Center in Querétaro—the home base for this position—is expanding to more than 200 employees, creating exciting opportunities to build the teams that will support our next stage of growth.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for attracting the technical talent that keeps our business moving.

Your primary focus will be recruiting engineers and operational professionals across areas such as:

- Grid Interconnection
- Electrical Construction
- Energy Market Operations
- Distributed Generation
- Operations & Maintenance

You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering directly with Engineering and Operations leaders to understand business needs and design hiring strategies.

Engineering & Operations will be your primary focus, but not your only one.

We work as one team, so you'll also have the opportunity to support searches across other business functions, gaining exposure to the broader organization and its continued growth.

What You'll Do

- Own end-to-end recruitment processes, from intake meetings through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations leaders to define hiring strategies and talent needs.
- Develop sourcing strategies for highly specialized technical roles.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and create structured evaluation criteria.
- Build market intelligence, including talent mapping, compensation benchmarks, and candidate insights within the energy sector.
- Maintain active talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
- Track recruiting metrics and ensure data quality within the ATS.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including at least 2 years recruiting technical, engineering, or operations profiles end-to-end.
- Experience recruiting within industries where technical talent is highly competitive, such as energy, industrial, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or similar.
- Strong sourcing skills using Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other proactive recruiting tools.

- Experience conducting competency-based interviews.
- Intermediate to advanced English. You'll support recruiting efforts for our Texas operations and collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

What Will Help You Succeed

- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Discipline in maintaining ATS data quality.
- Curiosity to understand the business beyond recruiting.

Nice to Have

- Knowledge of Mexico's electricity market (MEM, CENACE, CRE) or ERCOT.
- Experience working with different Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

What We Offer

This position is based at our Operations Center in Querétaro, Mexico, with a hybrid work model (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) and occasional travel to Mexico City.

We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance for candidates moving from another city.

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to become a Talent Acquisition specialist in one of the most technically complex and fastest-growing industries, partnering directly with business leaders while supporting an international organization with operations across Mexico, the United States, and Europe.

Equal Opportunity Employer

At Ammper, we hire based on skills, experience, and potential. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all candidates and ensuring every application receives careful consideration.

Our hiring process typically takes between 5 and 8 weeks.
