Job Description

As the Head of OPEX at OESL, you will lead the implementation and deployment of the OESL Business System (CBS) while driving Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the plant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, optimize processes, reduce costs, and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Gemba Walks, and Standard Work. Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and structured problem-solving methodologies. Project Management experience. Experience analyzing KPIs and manufacturing performance metrics. Knowledge of cost reduction and productivity improvement strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills. SAP knowledge is desirable. Power BI knowledge is desirable. Ability to travel when required. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all OESL Business System (CBS) activities across the plant. Develop and execute the plant CBS strategy to ensure successful implementation.



Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and leading Lean Manufacturing projects. Lead Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Kaizen activities, Gemba Leadership, and structured problem-solving initiatives. Coach and mentor managers, CBS Specialists, and employees on Lean Manufacturing principles and CBS methodologies. Monitor CBS KPIs and ensure operational targets are achieved through effective performance management. Collaborate with plant, regional, and general teams to deploy CBS standards, strategies, and best practices. Support strategic and operational planning, including TPOC deployment and plant improvement roadmaps. Manage the CBS budget and support the achievement of plant financial objectives. Ensure the implementation and long-term sustainability of CBS standards across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence initiatives. Experience managing cross-functional teams. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Proven leadership in organizational change and business transformation.
