**Your Job**
As a Logistics Specialist, you will collaborate with various local groups to establish optimal processes that ensure import and export operations are executed swiftly, effectively, and economically.
You will maintain adherence to both international and national legal standards while aligning with Koch Corp.'s carrier agreements.
This role requires consistent process enhancements to facilitate efficient logistics operations, as well as continuous communication with essential stakeholders.
**Our Team**
Join our Global Logistics division, where you will be integral to all import and export activities at our Guadalajara Plant 1.
Our team collaborates closely with KBS and aligns with their integral strategies to oversee comprehensive logistics management for direct and indirect materials, in addition to machinery.

**What You Will Do**
- Coordinate daily import and export shipments with third-party logistics providers and parcel services via air, ocean and land.
- Maintain effective and prompt communication with carriers and custom brokers to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide users with real-time updates on shipment status and keep information current as per requests.
- Generate and synchronize clear and timely communication with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Planning departments.
- Arrange transporters for air export collections in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all operational cut-off schedules, from loading to delivery at airlines.
- Manage the generation and review of export documentation, including Proformas, Packing Lists, and entry and machinery format reviews.
- Oversee instruction generation for AA, customs report review, and customs entry approval.




- Coordinate with national/local units as per plant needs, ensuring efficient shipment tracking and prompt issue escalation.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering or International Business.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an electronic environment.
- Extensive experience with global logistics, import/export, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and diligence in managing logistics processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English (80% or higher) for effective oral and written communication.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, SUMIF).
- Familiarity with CTPAT & AEO standards and practices.
- Strong strategic leadership and negotiation skills.
