We specialize in connecting skilled craftsmen with projects that require the careful cleaning, repair, and restoration of headstones and cemetery monuments.
We are looking for a proactive Recruiter to help us find and onboard the best independent contractors in this niche field.
The Role
As our Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full-cycle sourcing and hiring of independent contractors (stone restorers, conservators, and cleaning specialists).
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source and identify qualified independent contractors (individuals or small teams) specializing in headstone cleaning and restoration.
- Screen candidates for technical skills, experience with stone materials (marble, granite, limestone), and knowledge of safe cleaning methods.
- Conduct interviews (via video calls) to assess contractor reliability, equipment, and availability.
- Negotiate project rates and contract terms with selected contractors.




- Maintain a pipeline of vetted contractors for upcoming projects across different regions.
- Coordinate with the operations team to match contractors with client projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recruiter, Talent Sourcer, or HR Specialist — preferably in construction, restoration, landscaping, or trade industries.
- Strong ability to source candidates via online platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- English — fluent (written and spoken) — mandatory.
- Spanish — a strong plus.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with memorial arts, masonry, or cemetery maintenance.
- Experience working with **** contractors / gig-economy workers.
- Knowledge of visa or cross-border contracting requirements (if applicable).
