OverviewThe world's leading bath and kitchen manufacturer is seeking a Product Design Engineer II to lead engineering design and commercialization of new products.You will work closely with advanced concepts, manufacturing, and marketing to bring breakthrough innovations and best-in-class designs to market, ensuring robust performance and manufacturability.ResponsibilitiesThe world's leading manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom fixtures is seeking a Design Engineer for our growing Fittings Engineering team in the R&D; center in Monterrey, Mexico.As a Sr.Design Engineer, you will drive the successful design, development, and launch of innovative and high-quality bath and kitchen faucets and accessories for the Americas market under the Grohe, American Standard, and DXV brands.The position is critical for executing complex engineering projects within the New Product Development (NPD) process, as well as ongoing product improvements and engineering maintenance of the existing product portfolio.You are responsible for delivering cost‐effective, robust, and manufacturable designs that meet or exceed customer expectations, functional performance requirements, and regional/global regulatory standards.You will take the lead role as the R&D; member, collaborating with general cross‐functional teams (Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Marketing) as well as with external regional and global supply partners.Qualifications5+ years of progressive experience in mechanical, electromechanical design and product development, specifically in mid to high volume manufacturing or R&D; environmentDemonstrated experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions (8D methodology preferred)Expert proficiency in 3‐D CAD software Creo and Product Data Management,
