Contract Type: PermanentLevel of experience: SeniorMexico Survey Station Manager to join its office in Ciudad del Carmen within the Latin America Marine Division.Location: Ciudad Del Carmen, MX, CP *****MissionThe Manager of the Marine Office is responsible for managing all operations within the Marine Office and across specific Marine Sectors, ensuring the delivery of services in compliance with international maritime regulations and the achievement of quality, technical, and operational objectives.This role includes overseeing a team of Surveyors and supporting their technical development, both in office-based activities and in sector-specific operations.Key AccountabilitiesOperational ManagementManage the day-to-day operations within the Marine Office and across relevant Marine Sectors.Coordinate the scheduling and assignment of survey tasks.Ensure efficient and effective execution of all office and sector-related activities.Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.Quality and Technical ObjectivesImplement strategies to achieve quality and technical targets within both the office and sector contexts.Monitor performance against set objectives and take corrective actions when required.Work with Marine Area Directors to align office and sector goals with organizational objectives.Team DevelopmentSupervise a team of Surveyors, providing guidance and support.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Foster a positive and motivating work environment.Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance team skills and knowledge, including sector-specific competencies.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all services are delivered in compliance with applicable international and local maritime regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant rules and procedures.Implement procedures to ensure adherence to compliance standards across both office and Marine Sector activities.Technical ControlReview technical documents and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of technical output.Address any discrepancies or issues in technical documentation promptly, whether office- or sector-related.Technical AssistanceProvide technical advice to customers and local authorities.Address and resolve technical queries and issues raised by stakeholders.Conduct technical consultations and site visits as needed to support customer requirements across office and sector operations.Customer SatisfactionDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations.Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality.Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues and concerns across both the Marine Office and relevant sectors.EducationBachelor's Degree in Naval EngineeringQualifications+3 years experience in the maritime industry, with a strong understanding of international maritime regulations.Proven management skills, with experience overseeing a team of technical professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.WORKPLACE DYNAMICS - Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently.FORESIGHT & INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT - Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally.INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE - Skills and strategies we use to interact effectively with others.DOMAIN & BUSINESS ACUMEN - Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise.At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.We provide equal employment opportunities and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected and safe from discrimination or harassment of any kind.We are also compliant to the Italian Law n.
