Fish Meal Plant Manager Position Summar yThe Fish Meal Plant Manage r is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Fish Meal Plant.
This role oversees the conversion of fish by-products into high-quality fish meal and fish oil while maximizing yield, ensuring product quality, controlling costs, and maintaining environmental and food safety standards .
The position provides strategic and operational leadership, working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Environmental, and Corporate teams to achieve production objectives and drive continuous improvemen t.
Key Responsibilit iesOperations Managem entLead all daily Fish Meal Plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient producti on.Develop and execute production plans aligned with raw material availability and business requiremen ts.Maximize equipment utilization, throughput, and production efficien cy.Monitor and improve plant KPIs, including yield, productivity, downtime, energy consumption, and operating cos ts.Process Optimizat ionOptimize fish meal and fish oil manufacturing processes to improve product quality and operational efficien cy.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, process stability, and waste reducti on.Analyze production data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savin gs.Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and production lin es.Quality & Food Saf etyEnsure compliance with all product quality specificatio ns.Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRCGS,

Qualificat ionsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related fi eld.7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operati ons.3 years of leadership experience managing production te ams.Experience in fish meal, rendering, seafood processing, food manufacturing, or similar continuous process industries prefer red.Strong knowledge of industrial processing equipment, dryers, presses, centrifuges, boilers, and utilit ies.Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodolog ies.Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving ski lls.Advanced English proficiency prefer red.
