**Primary activities of this position is to be responsible for**:
- Supervise and lead a team of sewing operators, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company standards and objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Plan, organize, and schedule sewing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Allocate tasks and resources efficiently to optimize productivity.
- Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks or issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address defects or inconsistencies in sewing workmanship.
- Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex sewing tasks.
- Train team members on advanced sewing techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest sewing technologies and industry trends.
- Monitor and manage sewing supplies and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate regular maintenance and repair of sewing machines and tools to minimize downtime.




**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Sewing Expert with supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing or têxtile environment.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various types of sewing machines and associated tools (e.g., industrial, overlock, Box-x, fabric saws etc.).
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, construction, and sewing techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
